I have the moroso street pan and it sits the bung kinda wierd with my turbo , it sits realy low if i clock the turbo so feed is straight up and return straight down i would literally have to go sideways for the pan, would it be ok to rotate so the return is comming straight off the back side of the turbo and the feed on the front, cuz that would give it a much better "downhill" flow for the return.
or does the return have to be downward for the oil to even flow right out of the turbo??

normally i would put the feed directly on top and return directly on the bottom, boom everything done....
how i NEED to do it on this setup is if the feed nipple was facing the front toward the intercooler or radiator and the return directly on the other side pointing out toward the block, if i do it like that i can create a "slope" for the oil to actually run down instead of puddling up in a straight line

Just as he said, flat will not work. Slightly angled would be ok but a horizontal plane wont.

 

yea pretty much , thats if i put a big downward on the braided line, or i can clock it more and put a 45 on the turbo and one on the pan but it's not that much of a slope for it to actually do in a downward motion, but that pretty much asnwers my question though ill have to keep ****** with it thanx man

 

when you're making your oil return drain, you have to be sure that there are no flat spots....as long as there aren't any and your turbo's drain side is facing down (no more than a 40 degree angle) you should be fine...

Thanx for all the replies i think i can make it work if i put a 45 on the oil pan upward with another 45 off the turbo downward so it stays with that motion that whole time and never any flat spots
