Default no heat........

well, so I swapped out the tired old y7 motor this weekend and put in a y8... i ripped out pretty much the complete ac system, including lines, condensor, compressor, accummualtor and whatnot...i still have my heater core and blower motor...but now I have no heat. It seems like its not even getting power to it at all. any ideas why??? its a 96 dx hatch, but i've done the same thing on my old del sol...and never ran into a problem like this before??? Any ideas?

When you replaced the motor make sure you didn't knock the cable, going to your heater valve, off the little arm.

that is all hooked up....it just doesnt seem to have power to it. The lights that light up when you push the buttons to select the air controls, like defrost, vent for fet, both..those buttons dont light up..but the rest of the lights do, like the defogger switch...So whn i go and put the setting on 1, 2, 3, or 4, nothing happins....no noise, no blowing, nothing coming out
