Default h22 swap question

my 2.3litre is FUKED, so im considering a swap. is it as easy as taking out the current engine and putting the h22 in?? or is there more to it than just that?

Wire vtak
You can re-use your usdm H23 distributor and external coil.
Re-use the usdm fuel rail- use H22 injectors and fuel pressure regulator.

ive seen ppl say on other boards that you can take the H22 engine harness and swap it with the H23,,, so i think that i might try that and use my H22 ignition coil.... if not then ill use the H23 harness and coil,,, Either way ill keep you all posted

The hardest part I encountered was getting the trans mount to line up. That was the only snag I ran into.

With my H22? I've had it in my car for a little over 2 years. 10+ track events and daily driving and not ONE problem. I even dynoed at 179 whp with just an intake and exhaust.
