Car Starts SUPER Rich on Chipped ECU
I have a problem with my car starting rich after it has been driven hard and put away warm. If the engine still has any amount of heat left over in it and the outside temperature is above about 70 degrees, the car will start insanely rich. I'm talking 9.5-10.5:1 rich. Then, it idles (if it actually starts properly) like it has this huge lopey cam in it (which makes me smile and giggle uncontrollably) and then eventually, it brings the AFR up to around 14.7:1 where it's tuned to go.
My setup is as follows:
98 Civic HX
Stock D16Y5 w/121k miles
JKTuning Chipped ECU
Dyno Tuned by local shop
Innovate Wideband
I'm thinking that my issue lies in the fuel multipliers giving it too much fuel on start-up under these certain conditions, but I'm not sure that's the true problem. Has anyone else had any issues like this?
TIA
