Default cv boot replacement question

hi, i need to replace the cv boots on a 1995 accord. the cv boots are the boots on the axels, right next to the wheels right? like those rubber grommet parts? is this hard to do? can i get new cv boots at kragens or autozone or something? can anyone help on this subject? basically they are leaking oil/grease and need to be replaced so the mechanic says.. if anyone can help, thatd be great. thanks!

Default Re: cv boot replacement question (r3sgtec)

i believe you need to take off the whole brake assemb. and all that shiz to get to the axle to do it the right way.

but i need to do it too, and since im a poor college student and my joints aren't clicking, im gunna get a split boot from autozone and pack the joint again and just put the split boot on. you could probably do that, but if i were you i'd do it the right way.
