Default help me gather the right parts...

i have a 93 accord and i am doing turbo engine buildup.

i am using my old f22a6 block with an h23 head that i purchased.I have been trying to do a lil research on a nice parts combo but there arent many setup similar to what i wanna do.First of all, my hp goals are 350-75 hp and to break into the 11's.

Here is a parts list that i have planned out.

arias pistons .010" over
eagle rods
some kind of block guard
have crank checked out/machined
head check out/probably replace valves
delta cams

my main concern is teh sleeves.i wanna do .010 over so the pistons are matched up perfectly but at the same time i'm scared of sleeves cracking.

How effective is a block guard and what manufacturer is the best.I was searching around today and i saw some design that seemed liek they greatly affected antifreeze flow.

any input would be apreciated.

don't worry about the sleeves and i suggest only going overbore if you need to.

You can pick up a good aftermarket DSM turbo manifold and modify it to fit. You can choose whatever turbo you want, if you get a DSM flanged manifold there are a lot of good turbo options out there from Forced Performance and SlowBoyRacing, or just get a T3 flange manifold.

There are a lot of similar setups out there, check out http://www.cb7tuner.com to see them.

yes thank you for the info.i know you can redrill the flange of a dsm mani to fit the f22/h23 heads but i was thinking of going with a used obx mani and a t3/t4 turbo.i'm already a member at cb7tuner but there are not alot of high hp turbo guys regulary posting there and everybody alse is boosting stock engines i was looking for advice on the sleeves.

how would i know if i dont need an over bore.I can still see the crosshatches from the factory on the cylinder but ofcourse they are glazed.should i have the machine shop check the block out before i buy the pistons?

bore it, pistons look good, rods, good, throw the block guard away, have everything checked out for tolerances and specs to see if anything needs plained....

and i dunno about cams...i know there basically useless on B motors...
