Default vafc I help

I posted this already but as with every thread i make it always gets deleted and my perecentage dropped.

But please some one help me.

Ok i installed my Vafc I and for some reason i am having alot of problems..

First. It wont remember ANYTHING. if i turn the car off it forgets everything i set. I dont know if i am confirming the intializze or what because i dont have a "select" button...all it has is prev, next and 4 arrows.

anyways... no matter what i set as sensor for the Throttle it reads either 0.00 or 100.0 all the time.

Now i dont understand HOW doi say "yes" or save aso that it saves my settings???

i went by apexi usa for the vafc II as there isnt any I instructions....

also i have a ORange wire vtc or tdc? that wire i guess isnt used on my model (94 si vtec) diagram H2-A..
I am very lost and need help very badly... I have searched everywhere one evry forum and cant find answers to my problems.
I really need to know what button is "confirm" or "Save" .... i have heard that even when u disconnect the battery it still remembers settings but all i do is turn the car off and it looses everything. I am getting extremely mad and need help!!!!!!!

you still have it wired wrong

one of the wires is for memory....it is hot even when the car is off so that the circuits still have power in the vafc.....there is no save button

it's also probably the reason your tps reads 0 and 100.......check your wiring

got it completely fixed...

problem was the orange wire was for power also and is the memory wire.

So now everything is great and when i was doing initial setup i had to have it in the ON position but engine off..and have throttle closed for 10secs and then 100% throttle for 10 secs then turn off. After that u start the car and it starts saving all data entered.

doesn't the VAFC I have EEPROM (electronically eraseable programing read only memory) (basicall written with magnets like a harddrive of a computer so it never loses the data when power is removed) like the VAFCII and SAFC??

otherwise you would lose your settings every time your battery gets disconnected or what not.

i think when you initialize settings on the VAFC it returns everything back to the stock settings, so maybe that's what you where doing wrong.

oh well u fixed your problem so i hope it's smooth sailing from here on out
