Help, running cold, not thermostat!
I've been running my built NA D for a bit now. (about 2500 miles on it) Its a totallry rebuilt (new everything) with mods motor, including a new thermostat of course. Well origionally temp was fairly normal, then it seemed to run colder and colder, now it runs barely above the bottom line, unless its idling for a while, then it will get to normal temp. However, as soon as I start driving, it goes back to where it stays a smidge above the bottom line.
Today I replaced my new thermostat with another I picked up at the dealer thinking I may have installed a faulty thermostat. SAME THING.
I'm out of any real ideas.
Things to consider:
GSR radiator
Middle layer of HG removed
High compression, stage 2 cam etc

Last night I re-isntalled the factory block of plate which blocks of about 55% of the GSR radiator. It helped a smidge, but still runs cold.
Just thought I would update for the search and archives.
Fixed a couple weeks ago, it was a bad sensor on the head. (the skinny one) Cost about 30 bucks from the dealer.
