Default Auto to Manual conversion is it worth it?

I have an automatic integra...still in good condition. I am planning to put an ITR JDM conversion on the car..rims..I was thinking is it worth converting my car into a manual or should I leave the car stock sell it and get a manual? HOw much would a auto to manual conversion cost?

Sell it. Autos are very slow and cannot handle the power it takes to be fast. And if it was me I would just get another integra instead.

ditto. I did the whole conversion, with a little help, in a day in a half.

i did the entire conversion for under $1000, and it's not hard at all....the hardest part was the pedal assembly cause i hate taking out the entire dash lol.

also don't forget the little things
MT starter bolts
clutch cable brackets
MT cluster-don't roll around with the P-R-N-D garbage
MT mounts
etc....

and be prepared to take some trips to your local Honda dealership for some parts.

I'd get another car. I woudln't want to run into more problems after the conversion.

I did the auto to manual swap on my LS and swapped in a GSR tranny. It wasn't to expensive but I wish I would have just bought a 5-speed to start with. The wiring is what gets me but I just don't like wiring.

if done right there is no problems...

If u really love your car why not do it? Ya it costs anywhere from $1000-$1500 but from the parts u take off and if you sell them to the right people you can make alot of that money back...GL...

You should probably sell your car and buy a manual.

wait. you don't have to take out the dash?!?

goddammit!

oh well...the upside to doing the AT-MT conversion besides the fact that it's 5-spd is it's real easy to just install your performance clutch, pp, and flywheel since the trans is staring you in the face.

i installed a clutchmasters stg 1 clutch and pp, and a clutchmasters 8 lb aluminum flywheel...

here's everything that i had before i did the conversion:

and the after:

ok enough pics for me...
