intake whistle.. help!! 00 ek
i have a 2000 civic ex. too many mods for a d-series, i know.. my most recent of which was an edelbrock intake manifold with a gsr throttlebody. i was running a aem short ram intake on the setup. when i picked it up i noticed a whistling when i hit the gas. i took it back to my tech. he told me there was more air going in so it was whistling. he advised a cold air might solve the whistle. so i put up for an aem v2. had it installed, it was a little better but now its back just as much as before if not more. anyone have any idea whats goin on. ???? please help

on a serious note no it's nothing to worry about, your going to hear the air being sucked in, alot like a vaccume cleaner. it's normal. Normally you don't hear it over the exhaust.

^^^ i already tried that... it dont work
but the whistle isn't a bad thing... it's just air passing through the throttle body.
