Default lsvtec timiing belt is a little loose is this normal ??

hi all. i have an lsvtec b18a/b18c1 with gsr timing belt/water pump/new tensioner as well. but it seems to have a lil more slack on the front side (left if your facing it from the drivers side). but i turn it over and timing stays the same and i did that about 20 times and it's fine every time. so is this normal with mixing parts that lsvtec does, or should i be scared during high revs that it's jump a tooth. cause stock hondas have their bets really really snug everywhere. please help me out. personals experiences are a big +

It SHOULD have some slack--and stock HOnda belts do have slack when cold. If you feel your belt after the motor heats up you will find that the belt has gotten alot tighter--the block and head expand tightening the belt--then when the car sits and gets cold again the belt will slacken up. Unless you have over an inch of slack on the exhaust side you are probably alright. Some pictures would help though--on a cold motor.
