manual swap, auto ecu?
92 civic hb swap in a d16y7 and changed to manual... i forgot to take the ecu from the manual civic
... anyways i been running my car with the auto ecu now for about a year. my car feels like it cuts out around 5k or so when at the track and go into full boost .. is this because its auto ecu still and the redline is lower? will car perform better with a manual ecu? should go with a 92 civic manual ecu?

the auto ECU will have a lower rev limiter but it should be closer to 6, I cannot remember exactly what the cut off is.
try putting a smaller gap on your plugs. Start at .028 and see if that will allow you to run higher rpms. If your running stock .044 gap your probably blowing out the spark with your boost.
I wouldn't switch to a manual ECU, I'd get a P28 socketed and tuned so you can ditch the missing link and FMU. It will give you more power and be more reliable.
