Could be the clutch, but definitely check all of it out.

Find a used tranny, a rebuild will cost close to $1000 with parts and labor.

Well Most Transmission Places Cost about 400 bucks JUST to drop and put the transmission back in,

So if you take the trans out yourself, and bring it to them, you save 400 bucks..

I had a transmission rebult in my Laser, IT cost like 1300 bucks,.. but that was with everything, they put a new clutch and all that in, new double second synchro, all new synchros, they dropped the trans, and put it back in..

So take it out yourself, put it back in yourself, put the clutch in yourself... just let them rebuld it, and youll save yourself like 600 bucks..

But just because its hard to change gears dont mean the synchros or shot, usually a grinding and such will be a problem related to bad synchros, so before u get it rebuilt try this...

Get 2 Bottles of BG Synchroshift II transmission fluid ( specially made for FWD manual transs )

when i first got my 92 accord the second gear was hard to get into gear, after i put this Bg **** in it shifted so smooth>.

If u cant find any of this.. go to an autoparts store and buy 2 lucas transmisson fixes, and 2 bottles of Mobil Synthetic 75w140 gear oil, and put that in..

uhhh, you DO know that our honda's need thinner tranny oil right? which is why honda MTF is about the same consistency as 5w30 motor oil.....
