High rpms makes the rad cap spit in my gsr
For a while now ive had a problem with my gsr sptting when i get on it or bring it up to 6 or 7k. I thought it was the radiator cap malfunctioning at first, so i changed it for a spoon unit thats rated at 1.35 bar, but it still spits, but not as much, i was told that i might be over pressuring the system.. but how is this possible? I am building it up next summer.. so if its a problem with the head gasket.. should i just wait and do it all together? Thanks for any help.
are you running a stock radiator?
reason i ask i thought it was my radiator cap also but it is what they call the typical top seal leak.

If it was a top seal leak... why would it come out the cap?.. and why would it slowly start to spew less coolant.. and more air?
just a suggestion....have you seen it spitting while reving or just coolant leak around the cap when you pop the hood after driving?
maybe a flush? air in your cooling system might be causing it to spit.

Could be.. i changed my Im not too long ago.. started shortly after that.. i guess i could try that to get the excess air out.. the air/coolant is coming out of the cap.. not the radiator... thanks for all the help
