ok guys im gonna turbo the b16b, question is right now i got a thin headgasket that puts my compression up at 11.1-11.2, shoud i
A. put a stock head gasket on, turbo it with stock compression (stock is 10.8:1) and tune hella close
B. put a cometic .051 thick headgasket that will drop my compression to 10.3:1
anybody is welcome to correct my math in stating that .051 will bring me to 10.3 thanks all...

Head gasket is really only the beginning in getting your car ready for turbo. Honestly. I'd keep the B16b as is, and get another motor with the right internals. I guess I just hate to see a perfectly good B16b with all that great N/A goodness go to waste.
this is simply my honest opinion, however.

agreed, but im not spending 700 for cams that will give me 10 hp, i work at a reputable turbo kit company (name will go unknown) so im getting a complete kit with ball bearing turbo for $1500... and i got the b16b for cheap too so can you blame me?

Cams will get you more than 10whp. The last set of crowers I worked with managed to put out a little more than 30whp when dialed in.
If it were my car, I would personally use an OEM headgasket. You can always run less timing to be safe with a higher compression.

on an otherwise stock motor? how big was the motor and what was the compression? remember this is a 1.6 really hard to make hp... but 30hp for cams is good on any setup my hats off to ya, how long was it on the dyno for?
