Default Suggestions needed for boosting my ITR!

OK I have talked to a few friends of mine and they have given their suggestions. I want to hear from the guys that have turbo's on their ITR's to tell me what they think is the best route to go. What particular parts and what turbo kit to go with. I wanna be able to run daily at about 6-8 PSU for racing boosting to 15-17 PSI. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also some places I can get the parts from would be great as well!

to run the race boost you'll need to build your motor, sleeved block, forged internals and what not. I dont have any direct experience, i'll let some more techie types respond.

OK now that some of the smart *** comments are out of the way about the deep fat wallet.......that is not a problem here. The problem here is where I live people don't know JACK about my car. They shoot out all the things that I know I CAN'T use on my engine. Just them trying to make a buck on someone that they think dosen't know crap about my own car!

I know about building my bottom end to handle the boost I want to run. I just want suggestions on what would be the better broducts to use!

Thanks for any help that is coming fella's!

I already planned to go with Hondata, probably a Stage 3 set up for mine! Now I just need suggestions on the turbo kits themselves..........

Hmm, this sounds like a project I'm working on right now. First piece of advice, don't cheap out on anything, it'll cost you double or more in the long run. I'd recommend picking up a gsr shortblock if you can find one and send that out to be sleeved. Put some decent rods and forged pistons in it and you're getting started.

For the turbo you can either get a kit and sell off all the stuff you won't use, or piece it together and get exactly what you want. Be prepared to spend a lot of time and money if you piece it together but it will definatley be worth the added time and expense.

You'll also need to look at your fuel system as well as engine management.

I would start spending A LOT of time in the forced induction forum and read as much as you can. Read any and all posts you think might even be remotely relevent and then go back and read them again. There are some very knowledgable people that hand out over in FI, start picking their brain. Just make sure you do your basic research first, as people get a little tired of answering the same question over and over again, the search function can be your best friend.

If money's no problem, there's a company out there making billet closed deck B-series blocks these days. That's the way I'd go if I had the cash.

Can't remember the name of the company, but I'm sure someone here has info, this is where I saw the post about them.
