but what is it that you're looking for? louder? more power? ricer sounding? each one has it's own characteristics. as for me. i'd go with the ws2. deep. not too loud. doesn't sound like that raspy ricer shiet. good stuff.

I love mine (even though I now have to have my system "tweaked" to fix a rattle). Big effin chunk of concrete in the road FTL.

I would pic Apexi over greddy. Greddy doesn't sell the best quality parts. Their welds are second rate.

Chambered exhausts = Quieter and more restrictive in air flow will not make as much power in higher powered applications ie. forced induction and high powered all motor engines

Apexi WS2
Greddy SP2
RSR EX-MAG
HKS Sport
Tanabe Super Hyper Medalion

Straight through exhaust (N1 Style) = Louder and less restrictive better for higher powered applications ie. forced induction and high powered all motor engines, 2.5 inches or larger

Apexi N1
Greddy Evo2
Skunk2 Mega Power
Tanabe Ultra Medallion
Thermal 3"
Vibrant 3" turbo or flat black oval muffler
ES Oval 2.5" or 3"

Thats just to name the popular brand exhaust, you can always go custom exhaust and put on a resonator and slap on a vibrant flat black (oval) or the es oval (black) to make it more a sleeper look.
Note: longer the resonator the lower the db's will be it won't be much but if your worried about sound and the cops get the one that will fit your needs

Thermal makes a nice one for the 5th gen Prelude. It's called the Thermal Stealth. It looks almost stock, and it isn't too loud.

I am VERY happy with my Thermal. It's 100% stainless steel, whereas the Greddy is only partially stainless steel if I remember correctly.

Yeah definately need to learn how to use the search feature. Sorry to bump this but I just like to argue and say the evo2 is the best. It is quite loud, but not rice loud or raspy or annoying. It has a very wonderfully deep tone to it and doesnt out weigh the sound of the vtec once you hit the high rpms. However, I got a buddy with the evo2 for his sentra and it sounds like rice. I guess it all depends on your application

good info except for greddy sp2 and tanabe hyper medallion are both straight through exhaust. Tanabe uses louravated style (fishscale) resonators to quiet the sound and the sp2's resonator bottlenecks to reduce flow which reduces noise. Good exhaust systems never the less for mild n/a applications.
