my crx has a b16a in it, after the car warms up the check engine light comes on and the vtec wont kick in, but then when you turn it off and start it up again the light will stay off for a couple of minutes, during those couple of minutes i will try to hit vtec and it will turn on, then at around 7500 rpms the vtec will start to cut out what is wrong with my car please help i hate losing to stock d16s just cause my vtec wont turn on, thanks for helping..

 

try pulling the CEL code and look in the FAQ's to see what it is.
