Default gauge cluster question

ive seen several different types of gauge clusters swaped into ef's before here on honda-tech, the majority of them are jdm and in kph, with 9k tachs on them. and i even found and bought a euro vt-i cluster with an 8k (i think) tach and 150 mph.

my question is what car are people getting the gauge cluster from that have a 10k tach and also in mph? is it the usdm integra type-r? or what?

You mean this one?

It's rare as hell only one way to get one and that would be ebay, it came from a low production euro model car.

I have one sitting in my hatch because I win at world, I paid ALOT for it too but worth every penny.

Has a few extra tricks other then just what one sees

That cluster is out of a UKDM CRX-VT or Civic_VT.
Not rare at all. You just need to know where to look in the UK.

yep, its the EDM Civic 99-00 cluster, its the same as the EK cluster design, and it does fit into the crx with a little wiring changes and changing to a electric speed sensor...ive got a crv cluster in my car now and i love it, but i would like to get this cluster down the road

Pee Ess, heres the link on the install https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=709958

The engine you have in your car has absolutely nothing to do with what cluster you can use other than the vss, as long as you find out which wire goes where and also as long as its from a civic or integra no newer than dc integra or ek civic (not limited to, but those are the ones that are done most commonly and can be done easily). Because I believe the civics and integras (rsx) use the ecu to send digital signals to the cluster, or something wierd like that, kinda like the s2000 cluster.....It can be done, and has been done, but its not really worth the effort I don't think unless you know what your doing.

P.S. look up at my previous post for info on ek cluster install in your ED/EF
