Im running the Royal Purple gear oil the 75w 90 with GM syncromesh in my LSD tranny and I have no complaints, if anything it runs better and smoother with this stuff in it.

Haven't used it for transmission but i used it for my regular oil. Its ok, i didn't really notice any change. I am running a d16z6. I'll try the tranny one this next time around. Just using the honda brand right now.

i was under the impression gear oil is a no no for honda trannys because of its thick viscosity. Hondas mtf viscositiy is similar to that of 10w-30. gear oil is like 75-90 wt.
