Accord ORB II Code
My son is at college and had the check engine light come on his 2003 Accord EX. He called Honda and of course they wanted $85.00 to check the computer for the code problem. He went to Advance Auto Parts and they hooked it up and got the following reading:
P0141
O2 Sensor Heater
Cicuit Malfunction
(Bank 1 Sensor 2)
When he called the dealership they told hime it would run about $450.00. He doesn't have that kind of money so I was wondering if this code is for one or both of the O2 sensors and if they are are they that difficult to replace. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thats only 1 sensor
.. If it was the other sensors it would pull up another code.. the other sensors code is P0135
they are easy to replace, providing you have tools, and basic mechanical skills

doesn't that vehicle still have a warranty?
miles, v6 or 4cyl? just contact local dealer to check before atempting repair/replacement...
mebbe the plug/wires are cut & that has to be checked out 1st before ruling that one oxygen sensor is kaput...
you can shop online for cheaper prices/ i know some people scream OEM only for this type of application (which is why u should check for warranty B4 proceeding)
but you can source out bosh aftermarkets from advance autoparts online via http://www.partsamerica.com or http://www.autozone.com
if you have easy access to that effected sensor, a blast of pbblaster on it before using a free loan tool from autzone would help in the removal...

worse case, loss of mileage... so u can delay it a bit while saving up $$$ for the quality sensor itself...
