hey i was wondering if u can just pull a ls motor out of a ls n put a gsr motor in. just a general question.

 

yes you just need to wire up a few sensors, knock and vtec. axles and mounts and everything else is the same

He won't need axles or mounts if he reuses his.

thats what i meant

 

extend some wires....run vtec and knock senor wires into the ecu

 

dont rip the boots when your taking them out.

i done that to many times.

AS stated before you will need to wire up Vtec, and knock sensor. Everything else is swapable.

 

Also use a gsr, b16, or type r tranny. The ls tranny works but the gearing sucks.

If by 'switching gears' you mean shifting, shifting feels the same between LS, GSR, Si, or ITR trannies... it's the shorter gearing that helps.
