LS idle prob after turbo install
I have a idle prob that started after I installed my turbo kit on my 96 LS. This is completly random it only happens about 30% of the time. My idle will drop to around 250rpm or below. It almost wants to die! This usually happens when i pull up to a stop light. People either think my cars a piece of **** or I got some mean *** cams! It doesnt seem to be linked to the A/C, engine temp, outside temp, or anything else I can figure. I dont have any codes either. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe its just coincidence that it started after I installed the turbo.
thats a similar problem i had when i installed my greddy kit and after getting it tuned it still didn't go away. People were suggesting to make it run richer at idle
its sounds like either the FCU was installed incorrectly or you have a vacuum leak. If one of the nipples are unplugged on the intake manifold it will cause that irrattic idle.

ya idle higher, not lower.
how was it tuned? idk **** about the greddy kit, never cared to, so is it running off a piggyback or fmu or freeware or what?

The FCU is a piggyback. Its definently installed correct and its definently not an idle prob since this is just a intermittent prob

I know the FCU is a piggback and it can be installed incorrectly when wiring it. If you believe it was installed correctly and you think you have no vacuum leaks it could be either the IAC or bubbles in you coolant system. After checking that your on your own.
