i got the car from my mom about 2 months ago i baby the car but i am having problems with it like i will flush out the radiator and replace the coolent with prestone 50/50 mix but then about 3weeks to a month or so later all of it will have disappear there is not white smoke coming from the back of the exausht and i do not see any leaks under the car and im not pushing the car or smashing on the gas petal so i do not know why this is happening the motor jus recently rolled over to 200000 miles and it has a bent value in the 3rd cyclnder any advice will help
Get your radiator cap tested. What happens is that when placed under pressure your coolant's boiling point raises, which means it can get a lot hotter before it starts to boil and evaporate. If you don't have good pressure in your system you can actually have your coolant boil away and you wouldnt realize it because since your temp gauge "hot" level is set to a much higher point, and the coolant can boil before it even reaches that point.
recently this weekend i remove the cap and it had pressure built up but it was cold i havent driven it sinc the day before so its been 12 hours plus so does anyone know the cause of that problem

wow!!!!
Good post, my friend pointed out that my radiator cap was broken and it wasn't holding in pressure when he came over one day.. I think I should replace it.. maybe thats why my fluid is always GONE after a few days of driving.

Just replace the cap god daymn it, it's only a few dollars...alot of people dont know that a radiator cap is also a THERMOSTAT!!!! when you...when you run the engine and pop the cap open and your fluid is still cold then IT'S YOUR CAP..!
i think he might have meant thermostat. either way, if you can't remember when you replaced the thermostat last, its time to replace it. also about 15 dollars from honda. just bleed the air from the cooling system after you do that from the thermostat housing.
