im in the market for a b18c but it has to be legit. just got an integra and it came with an ls but the seller told it was swapped but was legit, where can find the numbers on the motor, are there other #'s on the head and tranny? someone told to get those #'s and run them on carfax

 

There should be a vin tag on the block and tranny. If they say they bought the motor from someone else just ask for a bill of sale from when they purchased it and get a bill of sale when you purchase the motor as well.

look at the last pic in that link.

If you pop the hood you should be able to see it. Its near where the tranny meets the block.

Def a good idea when purchasing a car or motor. Like i said before try and get a bill of sale from the person who you bought the car from because if you get pulled over and have an **** cop who asks you to pop your hood and your vins don't match and don't have proof then you'll be in deep ****.
