Default Cluster wiring problem

trying to put (what I am told) a 88 cluster in my 90 civic hatch.
Im having a problem with the wiring pinouts...

Here is my B plug:

Green/Blue
Yellow
Yellow/White
Yellow/Red
Green/Orange
Red/Black
Red
Black/Yellow
White/Blue
Blue
Yellow/Green

And this is what its "supposed to be":

Should I repin the connector? Is the information above wrong? If it is wrong, does anyone have the right information (as well as for connector A)??
Why do I only have 11 wires?

i have a 89 crx plug in my face and it doesnt look like yours,,it looks like the later picture..

whats strange is i have both 91 and 89 plugs right here but neither look like your plug. maybe you have one of the different model clusters? on your 88 cluster read the code, mine says "NS" and the one that most dont have is "ND".

i'll have to check that later...where does it say that?

I repinned both of my connectors to match the bottom connector, and I have a slew of problems
Parking brake light becomes hatch light
brake and door lights on all the time...except when the headlights are turned on
Fuel level doesnt work
Tach doesnt work
Probably more, but I only turned it on, saw those, said the hell with it, went to bed

on my cluster its on the back in the center and on the bottom,,the top one says nst and bottom says ns3 so mine is ns cluster..

but go to ef-honda.com in the knowledge base, and click on 00 si cluster install,,it has the colors of the wires and where there supposed to be for 90-91 cluster plug

its NS

I just got back from playing with the thing for over 2hrs, and got a few of the pins figured out and switched over. I still have no lights for it, but at least I have temp, fuel (i think...) and tach

Oh, this is what I figured out:
1 - L signal
2 -
3 - Temp
4 -
5 -
6 - Door
7 - Brake
8 - Oil
9 - CEL
10 -
11 -
12 - Tach

1 - Ground
2 -
3 -
4 - Hatch
5 - Seat Belt
6 - Fuel
7 -
8 - R Signal

If anyone can look these up in a manual, we can figure out what plugs they are, exactly? Then, perhaps I can figure out what the rest are.....like the instrument lights...
I know the wire for that is red, and I ran it across the entire board with the lights on...but didnt notice anything other than blowing the fuse once...

Its even better driving a car that has just a seat (no carpet or passenger seat or hvac system OR DASH) hehe and driving that around for a couple of days waiting for your daily drive to be fixed

sorry, i know the second pic doesnt work...but those are not right for 88-89 clusters, according to what I have found out.
The 88 cluster I am using matches 90-91 pinouts...or closer anyways. Whats bad is every single site/how-to uses that above information...its why I am having the trouble in the first place

Its strange you said the above information isn't correct because its what I used to put a 2000 civic si cluster in my 88std.
