Default how to get GC coilover sleeve loose??

i tried a few things but seems nothing i tried worked, what are some ways or homemade remidies on geting coilover sleeves loose? i have a set of ground control coil overs on koni yellows and i cant get the damn things loose. anyone have any ideas or had this happen to them and they got them loose? the back are stuck the fronts wernt. please help. thanks in advanced.

Did you loosen the allen bolt that secures the nut to the collar?

If you're talking about just the sleeves being stuck to the strut, how about lubing it up and tapping it with a rubber mallet. Should come off.

i lubed it up, and i cant get the back lose, the front hex nut to losen the twister is already loose, so i can move the front up and down, the back are tightend and i cant budge the hex nut lose to make the twister move up and down. i hope u understand this post lol. but any remidies on geting that damn hex nuts lose lol . i tried pb blast. wd40 what else can i try???

I like to use the bits that fit into a hex driver. I believe it's a 5mm allen, then just slip the allen bit into a socket, and use a rachet. You get a lot more torque then using the 3 inch allen wrench.

Or you can smack the allen wrench in there, then use a big hammer to try and knock it loose.

Wd40 is good.. Try anti sieze as well. Whatever you can do to get the dirt (sand in my case) out of there. A few precise whacks doesn't hurt it either. It's a pain in the *** and in my case just needed some cursing and forcing it until I almost broke my wrist to wedge it free. Good luck
