Default seized Ground Control

I haven't touched it since I installed it cocuple years ago and tried to loosen the screw today and I ended up stripping it.

How do I loose the screw and raise the plate?

i had the same problem on a set of GC's, luckily they werent on the car at the time. i took a hack saw and carefully cut the bolt, dont scar the sleeve though, but the spring perch will be useless. u can call ground control and order the gold spring perch for $18 plus s/h, and they'll prob toss in the bolt for u

if i was u, i'd go ahead and order the perch and bolt, then take the strut assembly out when the package gets there.

soak it in wd40?
US PB blaster (think thats the name)
Liquid wrench

Any of those is small amounts might help you break it loose.

As for the stripped <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by blackstar &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">a hack saw and carefully cut the bolt</TD></TR></TABLE>

And next time dont monkey arm it.
