Ground Control sleeves are STUCK need help
i was told these didnt need a spanner wrench
So I sprayed the sleeves with WD40 and attempted to lower the car.
But those sleeves wont budge at all. I got a screw driver and a hammer and that **** barely budges. I dont want to take 4 hours on each coil. Is there an easier way?

Alright there still STUCK!!
Took out that allen bolt completely and still barely budges when I take a hammer and screwdriver to it...
It wont even move with I attemo to move it with my hands. I put my whole back and *** into it and wont budge

My ground controls move pretty easy when i just loosen that allen bolt, never had a problem. Sorry not much help but i have never heard of these getting stuck.

well, thats your problem. your spring so preloaded it is keeping it in place.
you need to relieve the pressure of the spring more.
try to stick a wrench and pry the spring up, using the top of the sleeve as leverage. be careful tho, it can damage the sleeve a bit.
if that doesnt work, or you dont want to try that, then you just have to take the whole shock apart and i bet it will turn easily by hand.

you cant rent spring compressors at autozone for free, or buy for like 25 bucks... I've done it before, but its a pain to try and compress springs while mounted on a car, but if your crafty, you can do it. Safe and easy to use, its fairly straight forward.

dude, youre not going to need a set of spring compressors for GC's. you certainly arent going to be able to install them while the shock is in the car.
