Default Removing Manuel Steering Rack in EF?

I'm not much of a suspension person, but I'm going to do inner tie rod ends, rack end bushing and outer tie rod ends, I was told its alot easier to just drop the whole rack, now how hard is this? I know I have to take the shift linkage lever off, and move the exhaust but besides that what do I unhook with the Pinon assembely, looks like alot of stuff I don't want to mess anything up, I know I have to unbolt the 4 bolts holding it up, but what else do I have to unhook to get it out? any advice would be appricated, also any on how to get that bushing out and back in, the pictures on autozone.com look fairly easy but I have heard different, also what kind of grease to use, just any grease like for balljoints and tierod ends? Thanks guys I appricate any info.

i never did. i just repositioned it if the steering wheel was off.

dont forget to adjust the pinion before you call the job complete.
