change D16A9 to D16Y7/8 gearbox

change D16A9 to D16Y7/8 gearbox
Dear friends
I have civic 92 with motor type D16A9 I will change this motor with other one D16Y7 or D16Y8.
I want to ask - what about the gearbox - must I change it or can I keep the old one.
My old gearbox is work very will (automatic gear).
pls need help - I must change the gearbox or not.?
also how can i identify the gearbox specification for honda various types?
