Hi, need help from the 92+ civic crew.
My friend blew his d15 in his 4dr civic. Hes getting a new motor for it..
Now im used to B series in EF's, and its a tight fit. In a stock civic im wondering if we can change the motor and just leave the transmission in, while we change the motor.. Or if thats gonna be harder then just pulling the whole thing?
Thanks.. Sorry for newb Q

i would just pull the whole thing out then separate the trans when out of the car... its alot easier to work with out of the car imo... they are easy to pull out also... just straight out... no angling the motor to get the trans to clear the mount like on ef's and da's... i always hated doing those
