Default Car making wierd noise!!

Well heres the case, i was driving today and all of a sudden there was like a grinding noise coming from the front. It doesnt make the noise when i step on the brakes only when my car is moving. Even when the car is off or in neutral it makes the noise. I notice its coming somewhere from the wheels. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how i might get rid of it?

Check the inner fender wheel lining... A tab/ screw could have come out! If thats the problem, it will hit/ rub against the tire and make a nasty noise!

can you describe the "noise" deeply or not?

There can be about 10,000 "noises" coming from the front end only when not braking.

check your car's break pads, Normally if your at a slow roll and hear grinding it mean's there's no more breaks and its to the bare pad. my mom has this problem right now actully and we found out what it was.

as above have said, brake pads...

fender liners don't stop scraping when you hit the brakes... belts don't make any noise if the engine isn't running, nor do they grind for that matter

your brake pads need to be replaced, and since its making a grinding noise...you probably should go get a new set of rotors too.
