Default 84mm Sleeved GSR

Here is a customer car we are just finishing up,

84mm Benson GSR
9:1 CP pistons
Pauter Rods
Applied Flow Head
GSR Cams
Synapse Turbo Top Mount
Synapse 2.75 charge piping
GT35r .82 a/r
3" DP
3" Exhaust
CBR 954 Coils
AEM twin-fire box
AEM EMS
T1 cam trigger (Second time using it and loving it)
1000cc injector
600hp intercooler

He have done some low boost tuning on it and some street tuning, the customer is coming back next week to put some race gas in and turn the boost up, he called me up yesterday and told me he got 35 mpg traveling to NH in it

i'm sure someone is (or probably will) say something, but have you said anything to the customer about finding a way to fit a filter on the turbo inlet? i see space is a little tight, but i'm sure you guys can come up with something to help them out.

The Metal Mesh Screen looks fine for track conditions.

DD is another story. I use a small K&N filter when I'm cruisin' the streets.

just got back from my trip. i was expecting my mileage to be in the teens maybe 20's, definately not in the 30s though. im more than happy with how its running, no need to try to squeeze out a few more mpg.

2.0L b series in the 40s i think that would be pushing it. im sure its possible though.

i have a lot of confidence in synapse, had it on the road for one day and then drove a few hundred miles away.

although its not ideal for a daily driver(weather permitting), thats the plan. aside from the excessively brutal clutch it runs like a champ. shakedown successful....time to turn up the boost.
