eg cluster ?????

Default eg cluster ?????

just a quick question......i have a dx auto cluster with no tach and i want to put an ex cluster with tach that's also auto of course. now my question is, is it plug and play good to go or is there any mods that i need to do with the wiring to get all the gauges working? please hepl, i'll be doing this soon. thanks

Remove old 'gay' cluster and put in the EX cluster

i think theres four plugs on the cluster i have, so all i have to do is replug it in the new cluster. right???

since dx didn't come with dash clock, is it prewired and ready to have a clock?

Good question, i wanted to install an itr amber clock.
You can connect a wire for (power) to the (yellow with red stripe) wire that powers the radio and use the black ground wire or you can unscrew a screw from the metal, ground the other wire in the hole and put the screw in.

yes all civics are prewired for clocks...

You should have four plugs: 2 blue for the cluster, another one for the PRND lights, and the yellow SRS.

There's already a clock plug behind the blockoff plate. I have an SiR clock in my car.

all civic in that time frame should all come with allmost the same exact wireing harness accept for small things like no vtec but im pretty sure everything eles is the same i put an amber clock in mine and a new gauge cluster in my and i have a dx
