Well i have had a few problems with my trans lately, so i took it out, replaced my throw out bearing yesterday, and before i replaced it, my clutch was grabbing great, grabbed 2nd a few times a couple days before. Well i put the trans back in and take it out, and now i let off the clutch completely and it feels like its slipping. I checked my master cylinder, and its leaking on the back side and has a lot of play in it...could this be causing any problems? I reallly do not want to repalce the clutch, considering it has 10k miles on it.
Definetly it's the Master Cylinder.
My problems: I got a stage 3 ACT, aftermarket flywheel (not sure of brand) on a stock ls tranny(previous owner did the setup). Fluid leaking from master cyclinder and no pressure when apply the clutch. Unable to shift from 2-5th.
I replaced the master cylinder and trans cylinder. Now I have to replace the clutch. It costed me $400 for parts and labor already. Now I gotta get a stage 1 clutch and for labor. Not sure if the stage 3 or flywheel is fucked. I'll have the tech take apart the trans. Good luck with your car.
