Anyone with this set up --- JDM 2nd gen B16 on a 5th gen civic
Hey guys, i just wanna see if some of you have this set up and can help me out as i do my B16 swap. currently i have a 95 dx that came with a 93 ex/si d16 when i bought the car. so i hope i dont run into any problems with the harness issue since its running with vtec. one of the many questions i have is about the mounts. would be able to use the stock mounts that are on my car? or do i need any other additional if not diff mounts from another car? please be a bit specific so i wont be a pest to some of u by re-posting. ill appreciate if i can email some of u with other questions that may arise. fyi, the b16 came with its hydro tranny, stock intake & exhaust manifolds, shift linkage, dist, starter, axles (one of which needs repair) and ecu. i would be dropping a stage 2 exedy clutch (yah i know its an exedy, but not bad if it was for free 
) and skunk2 cam gears. maybe in a few months (for sure by summer hits around) i would have after market headers and a whole new exhaust including the cat. well thanx for reading and tia.

ok for wiring, your gonna need to run a wire for the knock sensor (dont know the pinout off the top of my head, sorry)
mounts - transmission T bracket from a gsr or del sol vtec, and upper drivers side mount from the same (i think its those, dont remember. i used the mounts that came with my swap didnt reuse any stock ones) good luck with the swap, its not that difficult.

thanx for the reply kamin. anyone else know about the knock out sensor and how to do it? and is the T bracket mount u mentioned the same as the rear mount i often read about?

Use a P28 Hondata stage 2 to run the B16......you don't need to run the knock sensor wire then.
Might be easier.......

yah that hondata stage 2 set up sounds good. but right now im a bit tight on money. dont even have the money for aftermarket headers yet. so i got to save up. but anyhow, keep them coming guys.
