will a6 alternator work for a z6? searched!
just got a new alt for the a6 but im swapping soon after my rebuild of the z6 is done. the only reason i bought the new one is cause the old one died, and i need a car so it had to be done.
anyways as the title states will it work?

Ha ha LOL I'm using an a6 alt on my B18b...I believe the a6 alt pulley has 3 ribs where in my case the B18b had 4...all i did was use the a6 belt and lined it up on the 3 ribs that made the belt straigh and its worked fine for several months almost a year so you might not eve need to swap pulleys just put it on an eyeball it see if it looks straight

i dont even know wat belt im using, its either the a6's or the gsr's or even a b20....so...yea.....but its still doin the job so its all good
