since yesterday and now even louder this morning, the drivers side of my motor makes a rattling noise (louder and louder the higher the rpms get until i press in the cluth and let the motor rest) it sounds like its coming from under the head... maybe its a bad valve? what is this?

Could be tons of things. If you don't have the abilty to diagnose where the noise is coming from, chances are you won't be able to fix it. Take it to a shop where someone can advise you what needs to be done will be your best bet.

 

now it stalls here and there when im coming to a stop and its gotten louder and more instant

 

rattling you say.... is your car auto or 5 speed

And your still driving it? How about parking it till you can have someone look over the car?

 

its 5 speed, its been determined, a pistons slapping the head... shes blown
