Default Passing smog? obd1 b16a, obd2 vehicle.

4th time ive tried to get an answer on this.


i know i will need to run an obd2 ecu, anyone have a suggestion as to which one would work the best? currently im using the obd2 harness with alternator and distributor converted to obd1.


what is required and or what needs to be swapped/changed/converted for me to not throw any codes with and obd2 ecu?


its obd2a by the way. thanks.

you need a delsol OBD2 P30, or a P2T from a 99-00 civic with a OBD2B->A conversion harness

k. i know what ecu's i COULD use, im trying to find the ideal one that will throw the least codes AND i need to know what i will need to change on the motor to not throw a code for examply, oil pump etc.

you put a OBD1 engine in a OBD2 car , now you want to pass emissions, goodluck, those are the only USDM B16 ecus that will let you pass OBD2 emission whether you want to believe it or not.
First question, is the engine JDM?

obviously if its a b16a.


i know what ecu's i can use, those arent the only ones. im just trying to find the ideal one.

i wish someone who knew what needs to be changed on the motor would post.
