Default Rear Sway bar questions

I have the ST 32mm (ITHINK) rear sway bar the one where the endlinks are extended to where the strut bolts to the LCA.

on the endlinks, which has the poly red brusings, how tight to you tighten the bolts, like as tight as you can get them, where it squishes the brusings, or just tight enough to have them firm

here is a pic of the set up for referance, although its crappy and i dont think you can see the endlinks

they shouldn't be smashed/squished but they shouldn't be loose, find a happy medium

On my Progress 22mm bar the instructions say "snug" so not really tight but not loose either.
