Y8 Knock sensor hole - plug it up?
Bought a Y8 block a few months ago.. Just before bringing it to the machine shop to be overbored, i noticed that the knock sensor is missing. Since I'm dropping this block into my OBD-1 civic, I have no need for the knock sensor itself. However, since the hole is still there, i need a way to plug it up!
There are NO threads in the hole - it's completely smooth. The Y8 knock sensor hole is located on one of the water jackets in the back of the block, so i'll need the plug to be strong enough to withstand the engine coolant pressure. It's about a 26mm-27mm inside diameter.
In the first pic, it's the hole just to the right of the oil filter outlet...

And a close up....

Any ideas? It doesn't need to look pretty, i just need something that's inexpensive, effective, and possible to do on my own..
Thanks for any input!

here is a question how big do you think the knock sensor is? that hole is huge and i do belive thats for the black crank case breather box. Also the knock sensor doesn't usually touch water or oil it's a blind thread hole.
the knock sensor goes above the gold water pipe on the left hand side
the knock sensor goes above the gold water pipe on the left hand side
