FRAME DAMAGE on possible new car, need info!!!
I am possibly going to purchase my first s2k!
however, the car has a "totalled" brand because of an accident where the frame was said to be "tweaked" as the seller (a salvage yard, essentially, so they didnt try to pitch garbage at me like a dealer or private seller would) told me over the phone. it looks fine in the pictures, and it is still drivable.
my question is: can you guys give me a projected cost to have the frame realligned? all i know about the amount of damage is that it is "tweaked" but still very drivable.
they are asking 13,500, and it is a 2002 with only 24k miles!!! i really want it, i just need to know if it would be worth it to fix it up.
any info, especially from those who can give me an accurate price range from experience, would be very much appreciated. thanks guys.

Go find a good S2K that hasn't been in an accident. You will never know what else may be wrong with that one. If it has been "totalled" due to frame damage, I would not touch it.
Frame straightening can easily turn into well over 5,000, plus any bodywork that may need to be done. I would look for a non-damaged version.
damn thats a rip off, i know a guy that picked up a 05 s2k with only 1k miles for 2,000 and only needed some misc parts and small amounts of body work but then again hes probably just lucky as hell
