Hey guys I am going to be purchasing an 09 TSX with the technology package and have some questions about pricing.

Will I be able to bargain them down or because it is a redesigned 09 will they be very firm with the price? I went to the dealer and they gave me a price of a little under MSRP. Can I get them lower?

What is the invoice price? Is that what the dealer pays for the car? Anyone know what a dealer pays for the car?

I have heard a bunch about price club/costco pricing of cars. I am a member there. Apparently they get you good prices on cars. Is that worth it?

Any other tips? This is my first time buying a brand new car from a dealer. Thanks

i bought my 09 in June and got it for 1100 i think over invoice at the time since the car was new to the market.

Websites like Edmunds.com are good resources

I'm picking up my tsx with tech for 30,022, but my brother is a manager at the dealership, they are making something like $1 from me on the deal.

MSRP on it is like 32,022 plus destination tax and fees.

I ended up buying a 2009 Acura TSX with the Tech package and 6 speed manual. I got white exterior with the ebony leather. Price was $30,722.

if you can wait for a sale so you can try to get the lowest interest rate possible. thats if your financing it.

I am holding out hope that there will be incentives on this car soon, maybe even a deal in financing. I am ready to trade my 2001 Saturn L300 for an Acura TSX with 5 speed auto & Tech Package.

I actually went to Island Acura a month ago looking for a TSX with tech. They offer I got was $30,475 (includes destination, less TTL) ...basically the dealer told me that he only needed to make $250 on top of invoice from me. I don't need a car now, so I'm waiting and hoping that they will have a financing deal soon before I pull the trigger. The dealer I dealt with was Cosmo Clemente...very nice guy too.
