OBD2 and CAT'S
Is a resistor the only thing that's available to allow an OBD2 Accord to not throw codes with a test pipe ?
I would like to get one but don't want the check engine light

oom by "test pipe" i asume you mean a "hollowed cat", or "free flow cat"?
i ran a free flow cat on my 96 obd2 accord and i had the bung from the old cat cut fitted and welded into the freeflow and i never threw a code.

was it a test pipe or high flow cat ?? high flow cat's still have honeycombs..
my testpipe doesnt throw a code, but i have obdi, but my header did *shrug* i think it has to do with my o2 sensor, but how the hell could the ECU know if you have a cat or not? its just a pipe! unless it counts on back pressure or something.. uhm, try hitting it with a hammer

_______
OBD2 - Onboard Diag. 2 - has a second O2 after the cat that reads clean air. If it reads dirty (having a test pipe) it raises voltage and throws a code on your ECM.
Then your car won't run right..

Actually, if the O2 in the cat throws a code it in no way affects the running of the car. The primary O2 sensor is the one that will make your car run like crap if it throws a code.
