Default Need Help With My Radiator! URGENT!

Car= 1998 Integra GSR...Ok well two days ago I notice my radiator is leaking and needs to be replaced since it is the infamous stock plastic end tank one. So I get another identical one off of my friend. I drain all fluids( using a HONDATECH guide ) and connect and hook up the new radiator. I fill it with fluids and begin to let it idle on level ground. Waited about 15-19 minutes, fans do not come on. It does suck up some fluid so I add water/coolant. I put on heat andr a/c then the fans come on. Is my thermostat bad? What should I do? Engine temp is always where it should be and did not exceed half. The only thing I can think about that is bad is my cluster, I sometimes have to tap the needles for speed and revs to get it to work. PLEASE HELP!

If you crank the car and just let it idle, then the fans most likely wont come on unless its uber hot outside. The thermostat will open and get coolant to flow through the radiator, but it wont get hot enough to kick the fan on. Tach it up to 2500-3500 rpms and give it 2 minutes and it will kick on.....or drive it around with the engine under a load.
