does anybody have this problem? i got a 06 type s, and like when its cold in the early morning, i have noticed that my car's windshield creaks a lot, like its gonna break or pop out of place, plus at the sametime in the morning, my whole dash is creaky!! wut the expletive is up, i thought acura was a luxury well built car? my prelude never did that, but then again my lude was 27K dollars! pay for wut u get or wut? can this problem be fixed?

i drive an 02 type-s , and it stays outside in my driveway all the time, and i have never had a creaky dash or sketchy windshield that makes odd noises like that. and it could be a factory defect or something. go run it up to your nearest acura/honda dealership and let the service department check it out.

 

Its a very common problem. No way to fix it really. You can stick some weather stripping in between the dash and windshield, that fixes it, atleast temporarily until the stripping pops out, then just shove it back in. Thats what i did. There a lotta info on this on clubrsx.

 

I have this same problem in the mornings... My whole dash board makes a weird popping sound.. I live in utah and now that its getting colder in the mornings, i have noticed it alot more... IT BUGS!!!

 

Yep, when the temp drops the dash tends to make weird noises.
