I juss installed AVID motor mounts on my car 98 honda civic Hatch and well i was all happy that i upgraded but now the car shakes........ BAD like when i hit reverse when im tapping the gas it trembles. THe motor looks like its welded to the frame thats how much it tremble. WAS wondering is this normal can anything be done to stop the shaking thanks!!

 

i had avid for my H swap.
THEY SUCK.
i would never buy them.
my car was the same.

Why did they suck so bad, the reason im asking is because im building a sick b18 hatch and i have avid mounts but i havn't installed the motor yet. I have all really good stuff and i dont want **** mounts.

 

DONT NOT USE AVIDS.
my old car mounts barley fit and placed the h22 in the wrong positon.
my friends type-r swap the mounts DID NOT fit in the rear.
do not use them.
they even bend the mounts in your car to ****.
JUNK, for the sake of GOD dont use them.
