after getting some gas last night, got in my car and it would not start. It happend once before and then it starts later on.
After i got it towed last night, it started.
I just replaced, O2 sensor, Igniton module control.
Any idea how to troubleshoot it?
Or what could be causing this?
Thank you all
Joey

You need help to troubleshoot next time it wont start, you will need to check for fuel pressure by cracking the 12mm nut on top of the fuel filter and see if fuel constantly runs out while cranking, you will need a spare spark plug to put in a sparkplug wire that you will pull from one of the cylinders, insert spare plug into wire and ground end of plug to engine, crank engine and see if you have spark.
I am betting on a bad fuel pump or main relay, towing it shakes the pump out of its dead spot. You can give a couple of really hard hits on the gas tank while cranking and see if the pump comes alive. A tech with a scope can see a bad pump so if you have to get it towed, go to a shop with a scope.

Duane,
Thank you so much for your help.
I forgot to mention that it cranks but it does not start. I am not sure if that makes a difference.
Thank you again

MAIN RELAY is all over the archives, please do a search, but dont waste your time, check for fuel pressure and that will tell you if the main relay is working or not. See my name and the item by my name, that is a main relay, up under the dash on the drivers side.
Thank you again for your help.
I just confirmed that the Main relay itself is not the problem.
Can you tell me how to check fuel pressure?
I did some search but still not that clear.
Car now is not running at all. It cranks but it does not start.
It starts when it wants to.
Thank you all guys
Joey
Loosen the 12mm nut on top of the fuel filter, gas may leak out initially, Turn the key so the idiot lights come on and the CEL also comes on, the fuel pump should come on as long as the CEL is on, 2 - 3 seconds and fuel should be running out of the filter. If no luck then try to crank the engine and if you still have no fuel squirting out then you have a bad main relay, fuel pump, blown fuse, broken fuel pump wire or bigger problems. An assistant would be nice.
