Hittin' them switches
Has anyone tried replacing both the power window switches for the passenger's side window with the auto-down version that runs the driver's window? I have yet to take the door apart to see if the driver's side is two swtiches in one housing or two seperate switches. Also, I don't know too much but these, but is the auto-down a function of the switch itself, a relay, or a combination of the switch and a relay?
Thanks.

I've wondered this too... I'd like to make both driver and passenger windows on the driver side the auto down. I'm in the same boat though, I just haven't taken the door pannel appart to figure it out...

no technical tidbits from me, but i know yeah LS, aka the ONE did it in his race car before he decided his windows (and probably the switches) weighed too much and ripped 'em out...i was v. jealous. (:
-k-b0t, who wondered how much additional cost this would be at the mfg to just do 'em all like that...

my alarm (DEI) does this, both drivers and passengers switches on the drivers door are auto up and down, just like the bling blang Volvos
passenger switch is typical manual though
When I had my teg I've tried doing that.
The two window switches are enclosed within one plastic case... I got thinkin that takin these apart would be risky (i.e. cant put them back toghether) and than I looked at the wiring in the Honda Electrical Giuse (or sumthin like that) and the wiring for the switch for the driver's window look much more complicated.
I skipped it... but I would do that alarm thing... well, actually, I would go hard core and replace the power window switches w/ manual cranks.

After I get the windows sorted the hydrolics will go in, so I hit them switches and make the *** drop. Maybe even hit the three wheel motion while sippin' on the potion. BLing BLing!!!
Anyway, hook it up with and ideas about this.
Thanks

Thanks Kamil, as soon as finals are over I might give this a try anyway. If it doesn't work I will either have two extra widow siwtches or they will be for sale....
